Adam was born in Redcar, uk in 2004. He attended school and college in the local area, before coming to York in 2022 to study an MChem. In his third year, he worked with Prof. Glenn Hurst on a mini project for developing a greener synthesis for celecoxib. This year he will be completing the final year of his MChem within the Frei group developing Rhenium complexes. Outside the lab, Adam enjoys running and cycling, along with cooking.
