Charlie was born in Felixstowe, Suffolk in 2005, and came to study chemistry at the University of York in 2023. This year, he will be working within the Frei group as an MChem, completing his fourth year by synthesising Osmium complexes as potential metalloantibiotics. Outside of work, he enjoys climbing and practising Muay Thai.
