First PhD of the Frei Lab

Proud PI moment as the first FreiLab PhD student Dr. Çağrı Özsan successfully passes his Viva at University of York. Çağrı joined before the FreiLab even existed and been part of many of the decisive moments that made the group what it is today. Even though his life motto is ‘less risk, more fun’ he took many risks during his PhD and they paid off in spades with 2 first author publications and 4 co-author applications accepted and 2 more under review.
